Delhi: Massive fire breaks out in nursing home in Greater Kailash; 2 Dead, many rescued

Fire in Greater Kailash Nursing Home: As soon as the fire was reported, 4 fire engines reached the spot and started controlling the fire. After an effort of about 1 hour, the fire brigade personnel brought the fire under control and brought the situation under control. The reason for the fire is yet to be known. The police team is inspecting the spot.

New Delhi: Massive fire breaks out in the early hours of Sunday in a nursing home located in Delhi’s GK Part 2 area. In this accident, 2 people died due to burn injuries. According to the fire department, they received information about the fire at 5.14 am on Sunday morning. The fire has now been brought under control. 4 fire tenders were deployed to extinguish the fire. Police and fire department team have rescued 6 people.

The facility that caught fire is a Senior Citizen Care Home located in E Blog of Greater Kailash 2. Senior citizens are taken care of here. The reason for the fire is yet to be known.

Four vehicles of the fire department got control of the blaze at around 7 am and rescued 6 people. However, 2 people died of burns in the mishap.

The police team is inspecting the spot. Earlier, on the morning of December 17, a fire broke out at Phoenix Hospital located in Greater Kailash Part-1, Delhi. As soon as the information about the fire in the basement of the hospital was received, 5 fire tenders had reached the spot and had controlled the fire. The fire department received information about the fire at Phoenix Hospital at 9.7 am.
