New Delhi: In yet another shocking incident that came to fore from Delhi’s Nand Nagri. Where a young man from a Muslim community shot a girl from the Hindu community because the girl was talking to someone else on the phone. The injured girl has been admitted to the GTB hospital in critical condition, where she is undergoing treatment. Police has arrested the accused Kasim who shot. A police officer told that the accused is being interrogated. At the same time, in view of the tension regarding the incident, a large number of police forces have been deployed in the area.
DCP Joy Tirkey of Delhi’s North-East District told that at around 8.30 pm on Monday evening, the police got information that a 16-year-old minor girl was shot by a youth named Kasim and fled from the spot. Police found out during investigation that the minor girl was alone at home, then Kasim, who lives in the neighborhood, came and fired a bullet which hit the girl’s shoulder. After this, the neighbor took the injured girl to the hospital, where her condition is now out of danger. Kasim works in a mobile shop. Accused Kasim lives with his family in the house next to the girl.
Minor girl is in critical condition
Neighbors told the police that there was an affair between the two. Both knew each other. But the girl was talking to some other boy, that’s why Qasim shot the girl. Kasim was also threatening the girl for many days. When the girl was taken to the hospital after being shot, the girl told that she was shot by Kasim.
Police team engaged in the investigation of the incident
After the arrest of accused Kasim, it is ascertaining from where he brought the weapon. Was Kasim also pressurizing the girl to convert to Islam? The police is ascertaining all this, however, the police officer told that the girl is still admitted in the hospital. The police team has gathered some information, as soon as his health improves, detailed information regarding the incident will be taken from him.
