New Delhi: Sahil, a 20-year-old accused who killed a 16-year-old minor girl with knives in Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy area, has been arrested from Bulandshahr. This painful incident was captured in CCTV. It is clearly visible in the video that a person (Sahil) stabbed the girl several times with knives and then hit the minor several times by lifting heavy stones. Anyone will be shocked to see the video of the murder. People are also seen passing by the place where the girl is being stabbed with knives. But no one intervened.
According to the police, the accused Sahil is 20 years old and was friends with the girl, but yesterday they had a fight over something. When the girl was going to her friend’s son’s birthday party, the accused stopped her on the way and attacked her several times with a knife and then attacked her with a stone. The girl was taken to the hospital, where she was declared brought dead.
DCW chief Swati Maliwal said that a 16-year-old girl was stabbed 40-50 times and then hit several times with a stone, after which she died. All this has been captured in CCTV. Many people there saw this incident, but did nothing. Women and girls are extremely unsafe in Delhi. I appeal to call a high level meeting with MHA, Delhi LG, DCW chief and CM of Delhi.
