Delhi Police said, "Around 10 pm, information was received at Uttam Nagar Police Station that a fight had taken place, in which an acid-like substance was thrown at a person.
New Delhi: Neighbors allegedly threw an acid-like substance on a man after the victim’s son took his pet dog for a walk in front of the accused’s house in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar area on Saturday. Attacked in which the person was injured.
The injured person has been identified as Rajeshwar, a resident of Uttam Nagar, who is undergoing treatment at the trauma center of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). And the accused persons have been taken into custody by the police.
Delhi Police said that at around 10 pm, information was received at Uttam Nagar police station that a fight had taken place and some acidic substance had been used. According to the Delhi Police, the victim’s son was taking his pet dog for a walk on Saturday night, when he reached in front of the accused person’s house, the people of the house started abusing, after which a fight broke out between the two sides.
The residents of the house threw some acid-like substance on the victim and her son. After the attack with acid-like substance, the question is arising whether acid is being sold openly in the market, which is easily available to the people.
