New Delhi: A shocking incident happened in the national capital. A constable of the Delhi Police was thrown in the air after he was hit by an SUV in the national capital. According to police, the incident took place on the intervening night of October 24 and 25 at 1:00 am in the Connaught Place area.
A video of which is now being widely shared on social media. The victim identified as Constable Ravi. In the video of the incident shows constable was on duty, standing in front of a traffic barricade beside a car when a Scorpio approaches and hits the cop, sending him flying into the air before attempting to flee from the scene.
The constable was thrown several feet into the air due to the impact of the collision.The personnel was later admitted to a hospital where he was treated for his injuries and was discharged later. After receiving medical treatment, Constable’s condition improved.
The accused driver was identified as Ram Lakhan Mishra. Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV was arrested after a chase by other personnel present on the spot.
