Delhi Police reaches at Rahul Gandhi’s residence over ‘Sexual Assault’ remark during Bharat jodo speech

New Delhi: Delhi Police has reached the residence of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday in connection with his controversial statement in Srinagar. It is being told that Special CP and DCP of Delhi Police are currently present inside Rahul Gandhi's house.

New Delhi: Delhi Police has reached the residence of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday in connection with his controversial statement in Srinagar. It is being told that Special CP and DCP of Delhi Police are currently present inside Rahul Gandhi’s house.

Actually, on the last day of his Bharat Jodo Yatra in Srinagar, Rahul Gandhi had made a statement that even today women are being sexually abused. Delhi Police had sent a notice to Rahul Gandhi on March 16 regarding this and asked which women are those who have said this. Rahul Gandhi should give his details to Delhi Police. According to Delhi Police sources, the Congress leader has not yet responded to the Delhi Police.

Special CP (Law and Order) Sagarpreet Hooda said that we have come to talk to him. Rahul Gandhi gave a statement in Srinagar on January 30 that he met many women during the trip and they told Rahul Gandhi that they had been sexually abused.

So we are trying to get information from them, so that the victims can get justice. He said the police tried to collect information on the case on March 15 but ‘failed’ and sent the notice on March 16.
