Police said that they had received information about the suicide of Amit Jain, the owner of Hotel Radisson Blu. The dead body has been sent for post-mortem. It is being told that he had a huge debt with the banks.
Amit Jain, the owner of Radisson Blu Hotel in Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, was found dead on Saturday at his residence in East Delhi’s Commonwealth Games (CWG) village. Police officials said that Amit Jain’s body was found hanging in his flat. No suicide note has been recovered from the dead body or its surroundings. Mandawali police station was informed about the suicide through the police control room (PCR).
A senior police officer said that during interrogation it was learned that Jain had come to his house in CWG village in the morning after having breakfast at his new house in Noida. He said that Jain was planning to shift to Noida with his family. On the way to his home in CWG village, he dropped his brother Karan at his office in Ghaziabad and said he would go alone.
According to the police officer, Amit Jain’s son, who had gone to the Commonwealth Games Village flat to collect some luggage with his driver, found him hanging. Amit Jain was immediately taken to Max Hospital in Patparganj where he was declared brought dead. Police said that no allegation of any kind of conspiracy has come to the fore so far. The police is investigating the matter in detail.
