New Delhi: Delhiites have still not got relief from Corona. More than 1000 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. In the bulletin issued by the health department, 1040 cases have been registered in Delhi on Wednesday. At the same time, the infection rate has increased to 21.16 percent. 7 patients have lost their lives due to Corona.

In the last 24 hours, the number of corona infected patients in the district has been 106. It also includes 11 children. According to the data released by the health department on Wednesday, 1762 suspected people have been tested for corona infection. The current number of infected patients in the district is 670.

Out of this, 28 patients are receiving health benefits in various hospitals of the district. 159 people have recovered from corona infection in the last 24 hours. According to the health department, 493 people have died due to corona infection in the district so far. Out of this, two people have died in April itself.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma says that wearing masks in public places has been made mandatory in view of corona infection. People are also being made aware about it. The department is regularly working to make people aware.
