Delhi: Several hospitals in national capital receive bomb threat email, search operation underway

Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital, GTB Hospital, Dada Dev Hospital, Hedgewar Hospital - have received bomb threats through emails. Other hospitals that received bomb threat emails include Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital in Hari Nagar, Hindu Rao Hospital in Malka Ganj and Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital in Rajpur.

Delhi: Several hospitals in national capital receive bomb threat email, search operation underway

New Delhi: After schools, now four hospitals of Delhi – Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital, GTB Hospital, Dada Dev Hospital, Hedgewar Hospital – have received bomb threats through emails. Delhi Fire Service said that the search operation is currently going on. Meanwhile, Delhi Police has started investigation to find out the source of the threatening mail. Police teams have been sent to four hospitals in the national capital.

10 hospitals and Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi had received bomb threats through emails on Sunday. After investigation, Delhi Police had termed this threat as a rumour. On May 1, a bomb threat was issued to more than 150 schools in Delhi-NCR, which later turned out to be a rumour. The threats were sent to schools using a Russian email service. The person who sent the email to IGI Airport had threatened to plant an explosive device inside the airport premises.

Delhi Public Schools (DPS) Dwarka and Vasant Kunj, Mother Mary School in East Mayur Vihar, Sanskriti School, Amity School in Pushp Vihar and DAV School in South West Delhi were among the 100 schools that received threats. DPS and APJ School in Noida also received similar threats. Similar emails were received in two government hospitals including Burari Government Hospital and Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Mangolpuri.

Other hospitals that received bomb threat emails include Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital in Hari Nagar, Hindu Rao Hospital in Malka Ganj and Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital in Rajpur. Whereas on May 3, there was a stir due to the news of a bomb in Nangloi area of ​​Delhi. A bomb threat was received through email at the police headquarters. The email was sent by a minor. The police had caught him.
