New Delhi: A heart-wrenching incident took place on the day of Holi in the national capital Delhi, where a speeding Thar crushed many people in Malai Mandir area. 2Killed and more than 5 people have been injured in this accident. Thar has also hit 2 vehicles. Initial investigation has revealed that the speed of the vehicle was high and the accident occurred due to loss of balance. Regarding the matter, Delhi Police has said that the investigation is going on.
Relatives of those injured in the accident say that a Thar car came at speed in front of Malai Mandir. The car first hit a pillar and then turned unbalanced and overturned on the street vendors selling fruits on the track. According to the people, the speed of the vehicle was more than 120, so the accident became horrifying.
According to the people present on the spot, the speed of the Thar car was very fast. Had the vehicle not hit the pole in the beginning, the number of casualties could have been more. Due to its high speed, the vehicle overturned several times after the accident. Because of which people came under it and went on being buried. The injured were later taken to the hospital, many of whom are still battling for life. At the same time, the police has issued its statement in this matter.
