New Delhi: Delhi Police has solved the mobile snatching case inside Jaffrabad metro station with the arrest of two people. On Thursday, An official said that the police have arrested two accused for snatching a mobile phone of a woman inside the Jaffrabad metro station.

The incident came to light after a video of mobile snatching went viral on social media on November 25. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast) Joy Tirkey said, “A case was registered at Shastri Park Metro Police Station on November 28, and an investigation was initiated which led to his arrest.”

The DCP said that the case was handed over to the Special Staff, who arrested two people – one of them involved in 17 criminal cases including robbery, snatching and illegal weapons possession. He identified those arrested as Tahseen, 30, and Shahnoor, 22. The officer said, “Tahseen has been involved in 17 different cases.
