New Delhi: In yet another tragic incident, a DU student killed in road accident. Principal of Kamla Nehru College said that a student of Kamla Nehru College of Delhi University was killed and several others were injured in a bus accident on Manali-Chandigarh National Highway in Jabali near Bilaspur district headquarters on Friday. .
According to the college principal, the students of Kamla Nehru College had organized the Manali tour. The principal said that the yatra was not organized by the college. According to the principal, a total of 40 students were present in the bus. 33 students were from Kamla Nehru College while others were from other colleges.
According to the police, the Manali-bound tourist bus HR 38 AB 0007 from Haryana overturned on the Manali-Chandigarh highway. Police said on Friday that a woman died on the spot in the accident while 41 others were injured.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and all the injured were admitted to Bilaspur Regional Hospital. The police further said that among the 41 injured, the condition of one passenger is critical and has been referred to the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI).
