Delhi-Vadodara IndiGo flight 6E-859 diverted to Jaipur after engine vibration, DGCA orders probe

New Delhi: After SpiceJet, now there has been talk of disturbances in an IndiGo flight. As a precautionary measure, the flight was diverted to Jaipur after learning about the engine failure of an Indigo flight going from Delhi to Vadodara. DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) has given this information. DGCA said that an inquiry has been ordered in this matter. Airbus A320 took off from Delhi at 7.30 pm.

DGCA informed that an Indigo flight was going from Delhi to Vadodara on Thursday night. During this, there was talk of vibration in the engine. The process of vibration in the engine lasted for a few minutes, after which the aircraft was diverted to Jaipur.

“On July 14, 2022, IndiGo flight 6E-859 operating between Delhi and Vadodara was diverted to Jaipur,” an IndiGo official said.

IndiGo on Wednesday said it is working to resolve issues related to employee compensation amid widespread sick leave protests. IndiGo also issued a statement saying that it is in constant touch with its employees to resolve any issues or complaints.
