Delhi Workers to Get Afternoon Break from 12-3 PM, Announces LG

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has given a big decision on Wednesday. He said that every worker will have a holiday from 12 noon to 3 pm and their salary will also not be cut. Now the temperature in Delhi has reached near 50 degrees. What is happening is that for the first time many records have been destroyed simultaneously. Due to that heat, people’s health is deteriorating, people are in distress. Understanding the same situation, LG has given this decision.

LG Reprimanded Delhi Government
Now the LG has not only issued the holiday order, along with it, instructions have also been issued to keep adequate water and coconut water available for the laborers at the construction sites. Well on one hand LG  Has issued instructions for leave, on the other hand, CM Arvind Kejriwal has been targeted from his side. LG has bluntly said that no steps have been taken by the government for the Summer Heat Action Plan, no meeting has been held yet.

The temperature has reached near 50 degrees at many places in the capital Delhi. At present, the highest temperature of 49.9 degrees Celsius has been observed in Mungeshpur and Narela, while in Najafgarh the temperature has reached 49.8 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the temperature in Safdarganj, considered the standard center of the capital, was 45.8 degrees Celsius. In Delhi’s Aryanagar itself, the record of 51 years has been broken.

How did it get so hot in the mountains?
Now, not only is the heat wreaking havoc in the plains, apart from this, the hot winds have broken many records in the hilly areas too. At present, the temperature has reached more than 43 degrees in Jammu division of Jammu and Kashmir, even a holiday has been declared in schools there. In Una of Himachal, the mercury has crossed 44 degrees. Even in Churu, Rajasthan, the temperature has crossed 50 degrees. Temperature is being recorded at 49.4 in Ganganer, 49 in Pilani and Jhunjhunu, 48.3 in Bikaner and 48.2 in Kota.
