Denmark PM Mette Frederiksen : Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, who had come out to campaign for the elections, was assaulted by a man, leaving her shocked. However, the attacker was arrested. PM Office said that Frederickson was not injured in any way and he was shocked by this incident. Local police said on social media that the matter is under investigation.

Attack took place ahead voting
The thing to note is that this attack took place two days before Denmark’s voting in the European Union elections. Just three weeks before this, an attempt was made to assassinate Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico, in which he was seriously injured. In this case, Danish Environment Minister Magnus Heunicke said, “Mette is naturally shocked by the attack and this attack has shocked those close to her.
