Another twist in Maha tale: Devendra Fadnavis to join Eknath Shinde govt as Deputy CM; Amit Shah tweeted

Mumbai: Every time a new twist is coming in the politics of Maharashtra. First BJP surprised by announcing the name of Eknath Shinde (Devendra Fadnvais) for the Chief Minister. Earlier it was discussed that Devendra Fadnavis would be the chief minister and Eknath Shinde would be the deputy in his government. However, after meeting the governor, Fadnavis said in a press conference that Shinde would be the chief minister and he (Fadnavis) would not join the government.

Devendra Fadnavis will be the Deputy CM in the new government. Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted and said, “Devendra Fadnavis ji has taken a big heart and decided to join the government in the interest of the state of Maharashtra and the public at the behest of BJP President JP Nadda ji. This decision is a sign of his true loyalty and service towards Maharashtra. For this I heartily congratulate him.

BJP’s national president JP Nadda said that Devendra Fadnavis should come in the government and take over. He said that the Center has directed that Devendra Fadnavis should take over as the Deputy CM and put all his strength to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Maharashtra and the people of Maharashtra.

JP Nadda said, “Devendra Fadnavis has announced that Eknath Shinde will be the chief minister. Showing a big heart, he has said that he will support the government by staying outside. Shinde will be supported by BJP. It shows the character of the leader and worker of our party. We are not for the position, but for the idea. The decision has been taken keeping in mind that there should be development and welfare of the people of Maharashtra. But the central team of BJP has decided that Devendra Fadnavis should join the government. Should take over in the government. The Center has directed that Devendra Fadnavis should take over as the Deputy CM.”

If sources are to be believed, Maharashtra in-charge CT Ravi had also explained a lot today citing the decision of the central leadership. Not only this, a big leader from Delhi also spoke to Fadnavis on the phone today. When he stuck to his insistence, the BJP president was forced to come forward.
