Hyderabad: Rohit Shetty, the director and producer, was rushed to a hospital in Hyderabad on Saturday when he became injured while shooting his forthcoming web series “Indian Police Force”.
The director got a hand injury while performing an action scene during the shoot at Ramoji Film City on the city’s outskirts. He was taken to Kamineni Hospital, where doctors performed a minor surgery and later discharged him from the hospital. After the treatment, he started his shooting assignment shortly.

The Golmaal director, Sidharth Malhotra, has been playing the lead role in the Amazon Prime Video show, along with other characters.
Sidharth Malhotra sustained a minor injury in May last year, during the shooting for ‘Indian Police Force’ in Goa.
Rohit Shetty and Sidharth have been making their web series debut. The other characters in the key roles are Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty.
Earlier, Rohit said amid the “Indian Police Force” that it is a very special one for him and that he’s put every ounce of his energy into it for years.
