Prime Minister Modi, in a post on social media platform ‘X’, wished everyone a Happy Diwali and expressed hopes that the festival brings joy, prosperity, and wonderful health to everyone’s lives.

Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge conveyed Diwali wishes on behalf of the Congress Party, wishing for happiness, peace, prosperity, and well-being. He emphasized the importance of love, brotherhood, harmony, and the collective fight against injustice, ignorance, and discrimination.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his best wishes to the people of the state, invoking the blessings of Lord Shri Ram and Mata Janaki for happiness, prosperity, good fortune, and health.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi used the occasion to convey a powerful message, stating, “Let the darkness of lies, injustice, and hatred disappear. May our India be illuminated with truth, justice, and love.”

In a separate post, Prime Minister Modi previously acknowledged the vibrant celebration of Diwali across the nation. He highlighted the radiant illumination in every household, attributing it to the government’s public welfare schemes.

The leaders’ messages align with the cultural and spiritual significance of Diwali, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.
