This is not the first time that Leena has been involved in controversies. Leena has campaigned in support of the release of Mohammad Zubair, who was arrested by the Delhi Police. An FIR has also been registered against Mohammad Zubair for insulting Hindu deities and calling saints hate mongers.

At the same time, Leena had accused Tamil film director Susie Ganesan of Metoo through a Facebook post. This case also made a lot of headlines. Leena was told that in 2005, on the pretext of leaving the house in his car, Ganesan forced her into the house. Then Leena pulled out a knife for her safety, then she was let go. However, Ganesan had also gone to court regarding the matter, demanding confiscation of Leena’s passport.
UPROAR ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Why are Hindu gods, goddesses and articles of faith mocked, ridiculed, demeaned at the altar of 'liberal creativity'? Must Hindus be punished for their tolerance? Aren't Hindus being forced to adopt a more hardline posture? https://t.co/B5wS8J7xJu
