This arrangement was established following discussions with the Fulton County district attorney’s office, where terms of his release, including a consent bond of $200,000 and directives against making threatening statements on social media, were decided.

As revealed in a recent 98-page indictment issued in Georgia, Donald Trump, along with 18 co-defendants, faces a collective total of 41 criminal charges related to endeavors aimed at overturning his loss in the 2020 election within the state.

Upon Trump’s surrender, the area around the Rice Street Jail will experience a “hard lockdown,” according to the local sheriff’s office, although the exact timing of the surrender was not specified.

A spokesperson for Trump has not yet provided a response to queries regarding this matter.

The court filing on Monday outlined that Trump, awaiting trial in Georgia on allegations of attempting to reverse the outcome of the 2020 election, will be subjected to a $200,000 bond. The filing also detailed that he must abstain from issuing intimidating social media posts and must adhere to conditions preventing witness intimidation and obstruction of justice, as agreed upon between Trump’s legal representatives and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Having been indicted on August 14, Trump and his co-defendants were granted until noon ET (1600 GMT) on Friday to surrender to authorities or face potential arrest. While prosecutors are proposing a trial commencement date of March 4, Trump’s legal team has requested a trial to take place in 2026.

It’s worth noting that Trump’s anticipated surrender on Thursday coincides with his absence from the initial Republican primary presidential debate scheduled for the preceding day.
