New Delhi: 16-Year-old Donnarumma Gukes created history in the Amches Rapid Online tournament on Sunday. 16-year-old Donnarumma Gukesh defeated world champion Magnus Carlsen, making him the youngest player to defeat him as world champion. 16-year-old Donnarumma defeated Carlsen in the 9th round. At the same time, Carlsen was also defeated by Indian Grandmaster Arjun Arigasi.

The 16-year-old Donnarumma defeated Carlsen with white in the 9th round and hence he defeated the Norwegian during his reign as world champion.

It is important to note that Carlsen was defeated by Indian Grandmaster Arjun Erigaisi as well.

Let us tell you that Indian Grandmaster Arjun Erigaisi made a comeback by defeating world champion Magnus Carlsen in the seventh round of the preliminary stage of the Emches Rapid online chess tournament on Sunday. The 19-year-old Arrigasi lost to compatriot Vidit Gujrathi in the first round of the competition but made a good comeback after that and is in fifth place after eight rounds. Arigasi defeated Carlsen in the seventh round on Sunday morning, his first win against the Norwegian superstar.
