Lucknow: Gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari’s son Abbas Ansari – who is contesting the UP election 2022 on the Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP), ticket, stirred a controversy as he said that if SP+ alliance government is formed, he has asked Akhilesh Yadav to not transfer the government officials for at least six months as he would have to do ‘hisab kitab’ with them. Notably, SBSP is Samajwadi Party’s alliance in the state.
Addressing his supporters, Abbas Ansari said that he recently met SP president Akhilesh Yadav and categorically told him that if the alliance wins a majority in UP election 202 then he should not transfer the government officials for six months as their ‘hisab kitab’ would be done first and then they can be sent to other postings.
Taking note of the video, ADG Law & Order Prashant Kumar ordered a probe in the matter of a video wherein Abbas Ansari allegedly made the controversial statement at a public rally. The top cop ordered Mau Police to probe the video and take necessary action.
For the first time since 1996, Mukhtar Ansari is not contesting the UP Assembly election. The mafia don-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari has handed over the baton to his son Abbas Ansari, who has been fielded by SP+ from the Mau Assembly constituency.
