Mahesh Bagwath, Rachakonda Police Commissioner, said, “A total of 16 people have been arrested so far under attempted murder, kidnapping, and criminal trespass. The woman was rescued within six hours.”

K Naveen Reddy is the main culprit. He works as a promoter for a tea chain and told the police that they got married, but her parents changed their minds after she became a dentist.
A mob barged into the home, as per a video tweeted and revealed by a new news agency. Some residents and a woman from the house come forward in an attempt to stop the accused, who are holding sticks. The men are seen shouting as the area is gripped by mayhem.
The victim’s parents also accused the attacker of vandalising their home.
