Moradabad: Some people are born kind-hearted and are always ready to help the downtrodden of society. Among them, one is Moradabad’s doctor, Arvind Goyal, who suddenly announced that he would donate his entire property to the Uttar Pradesh government for the help of the poor.
He had decided about 25 years ago that one day he would give all his wealth to the poor and needy people. This thought came into his mind when he was travelling on a train and saw a poor man shivering due to the cold. He helped him all the way.
It is estimated that the value of the entire property is nearly Rs 600 crore.
Arvind Kumar Goyal was born to serve the people during the lockdown period. He adopted 50 villages in Moradabad during that time, helped the needy by providing essential items to them. Besides this, his most notable steps were the arrangement of free education and better treatment for the underprivileged class in the state.
Dr. Goyal has accomplished a great deal in his life and has been honoured four times by the President of India, including President Ram Nath Kovind and three former Presidents, Pranab Mukherjee, Pratibha Devi Patil, and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
Apart from his wife, Renu, he has two sons and a daughter.
A five-member committee will be set up to estimate the real value of the property.
