Actually, this accident happened due to a sudden fault in the cable car. The country’s interim Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar gave this information on Tuesday. The incident took place in Alai tehsil in Battagram district. When the children were going to school at eight o’clock on Tuesday morning, then the cable wire hanged down and all the people aboard were trapped. “Relieved to know that all the kids have been successfully and safely rescued. Great teamwork by the military, rescue departments, district administration as well as the local people,” Prime Minister Kakar posted on X. The children used to go to school by crossing the same valley and the river through this cable car. The local administration along with Rescue 1122 teams were present at the spot, but due to the height and the hilly terrain, it was not possible for rescue officials to carry out a relief operation, Assistant Commissioner Jawad Hussain said.
