The Ducati Scrambler Icon is powered by an 803cc air-cooled L-twin engine. Flaunting a tear-drop fuel tank, new DRLs, wide handlebar, retuned suspension, more comfortable riding position, the Scrambler Icon tries to stay authentic but also offers a modern touch to the motorcycle. Some of the new features include the multimedia system, cornering ABS, refreshed hydraulic clutch control, and a few more.

The Scrambler Icon Dark now becomes the entry point into the famed brand by being the most affordable in the range. It comes draped in a matte black paint scheme with a black frame, black seat and silver details. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro represents the entry model to the 1100 range with a similar theme to its smaller sibling. It gets a matte black paint job with parts in anodized aluminum and classic rear-view mirrors. It uses the 1,079cc L-twin engine which produces 86bhp and 88Nm revs albeit in BS6 guise. It also comes loaded with Ducati’s electronic safety suite including Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Cornering ABS. There are three riding modes on offer too.

“The Scrambler range has always been a favorite amongst our customers and is the bestselling model range in India. It’s easy riding nature, oodles of character, and accessible everyday performance make it a great bike for both beginners, and enthusiasts. The Scrambler Icon and Icon Dark which are now BS6 compliant also get a retuned suspension setup which makes it ideal for daily use. I am certain that new as well as seasoned riders will appreciate these changes. For the purists, we are also launching the Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro, which takes the elements that make the Scrambler range such a joy to ride, a notch above. The reinforced chassis, and the Dark Stealth paint job makes the 1100 Dark Pro as good to look at as it is to ride,,” said Vipul Chandra, MD, Ducati India.
