Dunki,” directed by Rajkumar Hirani, features a star-studded cast including Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, alongside superstar Shah Rukh Khan. This film marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. Already, two songs from the movie, “Lutt Putt Gaya” and “Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se,” have been released and well-received by the audience.

What’s in the trailer?

The film’s trailer introduces Shah Rukh’s character, Hardy, who stands on a moving train, setting the scene in the village of Laltu in 1995. The storyline unfolds with Hardy’s friends, including Sukhi (Vicky Kaushal) and Mannu (Taapsee Pannu), highlighting their dreams of moving abroad and overcoming language barriers. Boman Irani plays their English teacher, promising to train them for a chance to live abroad. The characters risk crossing the border, facing challenges, and even wielding a gun to defend themselves.

The trailer’s significant revelation showcases Shah Rukh in an older avatar, participating in a race 25 years later. This marks his second role as an old man after Vikram Rathore in Atlee’s “Jawan” earlier this year.
