Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel presented the state budget for the financial year 2023-34 on Monday. The CM presented the e-budget using a tablet. This is the last budget of the tenure of CM Baghel. During this, the CM listed the achievements of the government. Along with this, a survey of the state’s economic condition was also presented. The CM made several important announcements. The state government is presenting the budget in the name of ‘Budget of trust’

Let us tell you that CM Bhupesh Baghel also has the finance department. During this, he said that under the new scheme, the unemployed of the state will be given Rs 2500 per month.
Presenting the budget in the House, CM Baghel announced an arrangement of Rs 25 crore in “Naveen Yojana” for the welfare of unemployed youth. Under the Social Security Pension Scheme, the pension amount has been increased from Rs 300 to Rs 500 for the elderly, widows and specially-abled.

Last budget of the state government’s tenure

Let us inform that the budget session of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly started from Wednesday. The session will have 14 sittings and conclude on March 24. This is the last budget session of the Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress government before the state goes to the assembly elections in late 2023.

Meanwhile, the Chhattisgarh Vidhansabha launched its mobile app (Android version) on 1 March. Speaker Charan Das Mahant earlier said that the app will give information related to the budget, questions, governor’s address and proceedings of the house. Elections are due in Chhattisgarh by the end of this year.
