New Delhi: The Minister of External Affairs, S. Jaishankar, paid tribute to Sushma Swaraj on her third death anniversary and expressed how much she is remembered.

In the first Modi administration, Jaishankar assisted Sushma Swaraj as India’s foreign secretary.
Condolences flooded in for Sushma Swaraj. Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, also remembered and noted on Twitter, “A pillar of Indian politics, Sushma Swaraj ji was renowned for both her persuasive oratory skills and her laid-back, kind demeanour.” She has made significant contributions to moving the nation and the party forward. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, said, “Sushma Swaraj ji’s simplicity, diligence, and patriotism set high standards of public service in Indian politics.” She fought for the general welfare and provided prompt assistance to the populace as the Foreign Minister.
Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla were among the leaders who paid their tributes to the former minister.
