Earthquake in UP: Earthquake hit many districts of UP including Lucknow, magnitude 5.2

Earthquake in UP: Earthquake tremors were felt in many districts of Uttar Pradesh including the capital Lucknow an earlier hour of Saturday. Its intensity is recorded at 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale.

Lucknow: Earthquake tremors were felt in many districts of Uttar Pradesh including the capital Lucknow an earlier hour of Saturday. Its intensity is recorded at 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale. According to the information, the earthquake came at around 1.12 am. The tremors of the earthquake were felt in many districts of the state.

According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of 5.2 magnitude occurred at around 1.12 pm, 139 km northeast of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The depth of the earthquake was 82 km below the ground. The epicenter of the earthquake is being told in Bahraich near Lucknow in UP.

Strong tremors of earthquake were felt in many districts adjoining Nepal including Lucknow on Saturday night at 1:12 pm. Its focal point was a place called Bheri, situated on the border of Nepal and India, in the northeast, 139 km from Lucknow.

The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 5.2 on the Richter scale. This earthquake occurred to a depth of 82 km inside the earth. Due to these tremors, tremors were felt in many districts of Uttar Pradesh in China and India, including Nepal.

In Uttar Pradesh, tremors were felt an earlier hour on Saturday in many districts adjoining Nepal including Lucknow, Lakhimpur-Kheeri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Sitapur, Barabanki, Gorakhpur, Siddharthnagar. Earlier on August 17, the earthquake shocks were felt three times in Nasik in Maharashtra. The intensity of these shocks was 3.4, 2.1 and 1.9. However, there was no harm to any kind of life. People were scared due to the shaking of earthquake three consecutive times.
