Jammu and Kashmir: On Tuesday morning, The National Center for Seismology said that a 3.9 magnitude earthquake hit Jammu and Kashmir. However, no casualties or damages were reported due to this earthquake.
According to the information, the earthquake occurred at around 11.30 am today. National Centre for Seismology said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 5 km.
On social media platform X, NCS tweeted ,”Earthquake of Magnitude:3.9, Occurred on 02-01-2024, 11:33:32 IST, Lat: 32.76 & Long: 74.57, Depth: 5 Km, Location: Jammu and Kashmir, India.”

According to the National Center for Seismology, earlier on December 30, another earthquake had occurred in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. The earthquake occurred at around 04:57 pm at a depth of 5 kilometers.
