Earthquakes have happened before
The Meteorological Department of Myanmar had told that even before this, strong tremors of earthquake were felt at 2.52 am on June 22. Its intensity was measured at 4.2 on the Richter scale. Before that, strong tremors of earthquake were felt at 8.10 am on June 19, about 152 km south of Yangon, the country’s largest city. Its intensity was measured at 5.1 on the Richter scale. At the same time, its center was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers from the ground.
