Mumbai: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday conducted raids at the residence of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar in Mumbai in connection with a money laundering case.
Searches are being carried out by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at several places linked to the people associated with the underworld in Mumbai, informed sources on Tuesday.
According to reports, the ED is raiding ten properties in and around Mumbai, all linked to Dawood Ibrahim and other organized crime syndicates.
ED officials also visited the residence of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar in Mumbai.
All units of the directorate are involved.

in the large-scale raids while some people have also been detained by the agency.
The ED action is based on an FIR filed recently by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and some intelligence inputs received by the former agency.
Officials say that Dawood Ibrahim’s gang is still active in extortion and hawala dealings in Mumbai.
This is seen as yet another major crackdown on the underworld after the investigative agency seized real estate belonging to Iqbal Mirchi.
Sources say that some underworld fugitives and politicians are also under investigation
