Erdogan once again became the President of Turkey, will be crowned for the 11th consecutive time

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has once again won the election. He is going to become the President of the country for the 11th consecutive time. Erdogan defeated his opposition leader Kemal Kilikdaroglu on Sunday. However, Kemal gave a tough fight to Erdogan. According to media reports, 99.43 percent votes were counted in it. On the other hand, in the official results announced by Turkey’s Supreme Election Council (YSK), Erdogan got 52.14 percent votes and Kilikdaroglu got 47.86 percent votes.

Gratitude of the countrymen: Erdogan

Erdogan has thanked the citizens of the country for showing their trust. Said that this is Turkey’s victory, today is a big day from the point of view of democracy. Along with this said that the winners of this election are all our 8.5 crore countrymen. Kemal Kilikdaroglu, who has emerged as a formidable opponent, has been derisively called bye-bye-bye..kemal.

Let us tell you that the first phase of voting for the presidential election was held on May 14, in which no candidate got more than 50 percent votes. This was the reason that the run-off round had to be done. Now in the run-off round held on 28 May, Erdogan has won. Erdogan got 52.1 percent of the total 97 percent votes and Kemal got 47.9 percent.

Migrants vote

According to information, there are 3.4 million Turkish citizens across Europe who are registered as voters. In this, the maximum number of 1.5 million people are from Germany. After this, four lakh Turkish residents registered their names for voting in France. Of this, a large number of migrants voted for President Erdogan, while Kemal Kılıkdaroğlu got less votes than Erdogan.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan did many things

Recep Tayyip Erdogan had also made many promises to the people in the presidential election this time, including building 6 lakh 50 thousand new houses in earthquake-affected areas, reducing the inflation rate to 20 percent, which is currently 44 percent. After this, it includes reducing the inflation rate to 10 percent by 2024, sending Syrian refugees back to their homes and compromising with the President of Syria.
