Excise policy scam: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team has taken major action on Friday regarding the liquor scam case in Delhi. ED has raided 25 locations in Delhi. The raids have been conducted for the investigation of money laundering case related to alleged irregularities in the new excise policy.
New Delhi: More trouble for AAP as the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Enforcement Directorate are conducting fresh raids in the Delhi Liquor Policy 2021 case. In the Delhi liquor scam, both the agencies are continuously searching for evidence by conducting raids.
The Enforcement Directorate team has taken major action on Friday. ED has raided 25 locations in the capital Delhi. Raids are being conducted at 25 places in Delhi amid alleged allegations in the liquor scam against the ruling common man. It is being told that the ED has conducted raids in connection with the investigation of money laundering case related to alleged irregularities in the new excise policy of Delhi.
Let us inform that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has launched raids on 7 October at 35 places in Delhi, Punjab and Telangana under the provisions of the Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in a fresh probe in the case of alleged irregularities in the excise policy. In this case, the ED has conducted more than 103 raids in different states of the country including the house of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
The BJP government has accused the Aam Aadmi Party’s Kejriwal government of eating commission in the liquor scam. Politics is intensified between the two parties regarding this. Amidst allegations of BJP, the CBI has registered an FIR against 15 people including Manish Sisodia regarding the liquor scam in Delhi.
At the same time, the Kejriwal government is accusing the BJP government at the Center of misuse of investigative agencies. The Aam Aadmi Party says that the BJP government wants to bring down its opposition and hence is taking action by conducting raids. CM Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia claimed several times that the BJP government would not find any evidence of corruption against them.
