New Delhi: Stars who have been associated with the entertainment world for a long time are getting death threats. After brutal killing of Sidhu Moosewala now Renowned Punjabi singer, lyricist and music composer Jani is receiving death threats. In view of the danger, Jani has written a letter to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Punjab Police, ADGP (Security) and Mohali SSP seeking protection. In his letter to CM Mann, he has also mentioned Sidhu Moosewala because he also used to recive death threats and many days after renowned singer Sidhu Musewala was publicly murdered on 29 May.

According to the information, Jani’s family has left the country and now Singer has written a letter to Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann seeking protection citing death threats. The singer said that he is getting death threats and because of this he is leaving Punjab.

Jani’s manager Dilraj has confirmed that Singer has sought protection from Punjab Police. Jani has sent a letter to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, ADGP (Security) Punjab Police and Mohali SSP. Jani has written in the letter that he has been working for the Punjabi film industry and music industry for many years.

The lyricist wrote that he and his manager Dilraj Singh Nanda are receiving phone threats from gangsters and anti-social elements. Due to these threats, he has sent his family abroad from Punjab.

Jani also mentioned the murder of Sidhu Musewala in his letter. He said, “Sometimes I have to go out for shooting because of my work. So it is very difficult to go out.”

He is famous for his songs some of them are Barish Ki Jaaye, Currently, Titliyan, Mann Bhareya, Dooji Vaar Pyaar and Pachtaoge have gained immense popularity. In the year 2021, he made his screen debut with Jagdeep Sidhu’s Punjabi film Kismat 2, in which Amy Virk and Sargun Mehta were in lead roles.

Salman Khan applied for a gun license
Recently, Salman had applied for a gun license after he allegedly received a death threat from Lawrence Bishnoi and the Goldie Brar gang. After his request to the authorities, Mumbai Police issued a gun license. The Police had increased the security of the actor as well and as per reports, Salman also got his vehicle bulletproof for added safety during travel. Salman recently met with Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar and Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Vishwas Nangre Patil in this regard.
