Fierce fire broke out at Delhi Bhagirath Palace market; Over 25 fire tenders present on the spot

New Delhi: A fierce fire broke out in the shops of Bhagirath Palace market located in Chandni Chowk of the national capital Delhi late on Thursday evening. Former Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan also reached the spot. He said that efforts are being made to douse the fire. Fire officials and police are present at the spot. The fire has not yet been brought under control. There is no information about any casualty. The cause of the fire is yet to be known.

Goods worth lakhs were gutted in a fire in the electronic market of Bhagirath Palace. The fire department said that a total of 32 fire tenders have reached the spot to douse the fire. No casualty has been reported so far. Remote control fire fighting machines are also being used to douse the fire. Police and local people are assisting the fire brigade personnel to bring the fire under control.

“A total of 32 fire tenders have reached the spot and are trying to douse the fire. No casualty has been reported till now. Remote control fire fighting machine also used to douse the fire,” said the Fire Department.

Delhi Fire Service Director Atul Garg told that the situation is not very good right now. 40 fire tenders are present at the spot. Around 200 people are also present here. The fire will be brought under control by morning. No casualties have been reported so far. A large part of the building has been damaged, due to which the street has been closed.

No casualty has been reported so far in the fire. The reason behind the fire is also not yet clear. The flames are so strong that they can be seen from a long distance.

Due to the spread of smoke all around, there has been an atmosphere of fear among the people. Seeing the fire, many people gathered around the spot.
