Afghanistan: More than three people have died, while seven have been injured due to rains and floods in Afghanistan since last two days. At the same time, more than 756 houses were partially or completely destroyed in nine provinces of the country.

Afghanistan: More than three people have died, while seven have been injured due to rains and floods in Afghanistan since last two days. At the same time, more than 756 houses were partially or completely destroyed in nine provinces of the country.

According to the media, the provinces of Balkh, Jabul, Faryab, Uruzgan, Nimroz, Nangarhar, Kunar, Nuristan and Lagman have been affected by rains and floods. Disaster Management Authority spokesperson Sahfihullah Rahimi said that food, tents, blankets etc. were provided to the affected families.

Also a team will survey the affected areas soon. Khama Press recently reported that at least ten people were killed and more than 60 injured due to flash floods and earthquakes in Afghanistan, citing the NDMA.

The department’s spokesperson, Shafiullah Rahimi, announced the latest update on the number of deaths and injuries caused by recent natural disasters in the country. Natural calamities cause financial and human losses.

As a result, about 700 houses have been completely destroyed. Also, more than 100 houses have been destroyed by flash floods across the country.
