Bengaluru: Prakala Wangmayi, daughter of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, got married on Thursday (June 8). This marriage ceremony was organized at Nirmala’s house only. The bride and groom tied the knot in a simple ceremony.
The two held hands in a simple ceremony amidst family and friends. Parakala Wangmayi’s husband’s name is Prateek. The marriage took place as per Brahmin tradition and with the blessings of the saints of the Udupi Adamaru Mutt. No political personality or VVIP attended the wedding.
