Court extends Sisodia’s ED remand for five more days
Rouse Avenue Court has extended Manish Sisodia’s ED remand by five more days. After which now Sisodia will remain in jail till 22 March. Let us inform that Manish Sisodia was presented in the court today by the Enforcement Directorate probing money laundering in the alleged liquor scam case of Delhi. Sisodia’s custody was ending today. The ED had sought seven more days’ remand of Sisodia from the court.

Earlier, the ED, keeping its side in the court, said that if Sisodia’s remand is not received, then whatever investigation has been done so far will be in vain. At the same time, Sisodia’s lawyer argued that in the name of questioning, the agency only makes him sit here and there. In seven days only 11 hours of questioning has taken place.

The ED told the court that the investigation is at a critical juncture, if custody is not obtained now, all the hard work will go in vain. The investigating agency said that interrogation of Sisodia is going on under CCTV surveillance. Two people have been called to record the statement on 18th and 19th. At the same time, Sisodia claims that he is not being questioned. They say that even if you make me sit for the whole night, but at least inquire, but they do not do anything.
