Jailed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain was on Tuesday discharged from Apollo Hospital. Jain, 58, was arrested by the ED in May this year in a money laundering case.
Former Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain was discharged from Apollo Hospital after recovering. The Tihar Jail administration did his paperwork in the hospital itself. After this, he was sent home. Let us tell you that Jain suffered a head injury due to falling in the bathroom of Tihar Jail, due to which a blood clot was formed in his brain. He was earlier admitted to the ICU of Loknayak Hospital.
Senior doctors were involved in the care
Here, the hospital administration constituted a four-member medical board consisting of senior doctors, senior physicians from Loknayak Hospital, senior neurosurgeons from GB Pant Hospital and senior doctors from critical care for Jain’s treatment.
Got bail for six weeks
Satyendra Jain was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in May this year in a money laundering case and is currently lodged in Tihar Jail. Jain was admitted to the ICU of Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital on May 25 after he collapsed in the jail bathroom. Meanwhile, the court has granted temporary bail for six weeks on humanitarian grounds in view of his ill health. This is the reason that after one year after improving his health, he has reached his home directly from the hospital.
CM Kejriwal also met
On Sunday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also reached the hospital and met Satyendar Jain to inquire about his health.
