Four killed after MCD truck overturns on Rohtak Road in Delhi Anand Parbat area

Four people were killed after a truck overturned on Rohtak Road in Delhi's Anand Parvat area late last night. All the deceased are migrant laborers from Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh.

New Delhi: Four people were killed when a truck hit them near Delhi’s Anand Parvat area on Friday night. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the incident by sending the dead bodies for postmortem.

Delhi Police said on Saturday that four people were killed after a truck overturned on Rohtak Road in Anand Parvat area late night. When the police reached the spot, a truck of MCD was found, which was overturned. In this accident, three people died on the spot and one person died in the hospital.

Eyewitnesses told the police that the speeding truck lost control and overturned on the road construction workers. All the deceased are migrant laborers from Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh. The driver who was injured in the accident is yet to be known. Further investigation is underway.
