The Gujarat Titans surprised the cricket fans and topped the points table. The team adjusted admirably in a short period of time. Skipper Hardik Pandya has been marshalling his troops splendidly.

The team’s bowling is looking lethal. Rashid Khan, Mohammed Shami, Lockie Ferguson, and others are looking to perform in their march to the knockouts to win the trophy in their maiden appearance. Batting is a concern for the team, which has to settle down before the playoff match.

Rajasthan Royals

The spin duo of Rajasthan Royals’ Yuzvendra Chahal and R Ashwin formed the most lethal attack in the tournament, taking 38 wickets at 23.55. Ashwin’s batting in the later order is a plus point for RR.

In the batting department, Jos Buttler is the highest run getter in this season of the IPL. He has already amassed 629 runs, but in his last seven matches his bat has not been able to roar and he has hit only 138 runs. Buttler, captain Sanju Samson, and Shimron Hetmyer have scored the bulk of their runs in the beginning, but they need to raise their game in the next round of matches to remain in the tournament.

Skipper, KL Rahul, and Quinton de Kock are in tremendous form. Both have done extremely well as an opener. Avesh Khan, Mohsin Khan, Jason Holder, and Dushmanta Chameera are ready to dislodge any formidable batting line-up. Despite their maiden appearance, LSG are looking to perform brilliantly in the playoffs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The form of Kohli in the last match has given a new ray of hope to the franchise. The last team who cemented their place in the playoffs would like to battle out heavily against their opponent. The team has the services of Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel and Josh Hazlewood, who have picked up 57 wickets among them at 18 apiece, with a wicket every 14 balls.

RCB have been the most stable side in the tournament this year. The team has made the fewest adjustments to the playing eleven.

The venue of the matches has also been shifted. The rest of the encounters will take place in Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Be ready to watch the first encounter between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals at the historic Eden Garden, Kolkata, on Tuesday.
