Here, amid the search for absconding separatist Amritpal Singh, Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said on Monday that the wanted people should surrender before the law. He also said that the hard-earned peace in the state would not be allowed to be disturbed. Yadav paid obeisance at the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Monday.

Talking to reporters, he said that the police would arrest the wanted people under the law and it would be better if such people surrender before the law.
