Ghaziabad: A couple from Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, who got divorced in 2018, recently got married again. Their divorce case went on in three courts – the family court in Ghaziabad, a high court and the Supreme Court.
They reconciled when her husband was undergoing treatment for a heart condition. Vinay Jaiswal and Pooja Choudhary got married in 2012 but within a year of marriage, differences emerged between them.
As things escalated, they decided to file for divorce. After a long legal battle that lasted for five years, Vinay and Pooja finally separated in 2018.
Vinay suffered a heart attack and had to undergo open surgery in August this year. As the two spent time together, love rekindled between them and they decided to put aside their differences and get married again.
When the news of his surgery reached Pooja, she became anxious to know about the well being of her ex-husband and went straight to the hospital to meet him. On November 23, Vinay and Pooja got married again in the presence of each other’s family.
Vinay Jaiswal works as an assistant manager at Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) while Pooja Chaudhary, originally a resident of Patna, used to work as a teacher. The wedding ceremony was held in an Arya Samaj temple in Ghaziabad’s Kavi Nagar.
