In the recently held NEET exam, several girls in different centres in Kerala had to face backlash as they were asked to remove their underwear during frisking ahead of taking the medical entrance test. A massive row occurred at the NEET medical exam centre in Kerala.
Numerous female candidates became nervous and failed to concentrate on the examination. Therefore, girl candidates have got the option to reappear in the NEET exam on September 4. The NTA has informed the students regarding the exam date and other information through email.
A Public Interest Litigation filed in the Kerala High Court has demanded relaxation for the girl students who were asked to remove their underwear before appearing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) in Kollam.
The petitioner has requested the National Testing Agency (NTA) to re-conduct the exam within two weeks.
