The company had earlier suspended its operations till June 22, 2023. Go First also assured that they will be able to resume booking shortly. “As you are aware, the company has filed an application for immediate resolution and revival of operations. We will be able to resume bookings shortly” the statement read.

Earlier on Friday, the cash-strapped budget carrier Go First had announced that they will resume scheduled flight operations after getting the approval and availability of flight schedules by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), with additional conditions. It may be noted that due to cash crunch in the beginning of May, the airline had completely stopped its operations on May 3. Since then the company went into bankruptcy process, due to which the company could not start flying again.

According to the information, a 6-month revival plan has been submitted to the DGCA by GoFirst. In this, the company has been asked to resume operations with a total of 26 commercial aircraft and 400 pilots. The company can start flights from Pune, Bagdogra, Goa, Srinagar, Leh and Delhi.
