With a dip of Rs 65, or 0.13 per cent, gold futures, maturing on October 5, 2022, stood at Rs 49,160 per 10 grams on the MCX.
Silver futures with a maturity date of December 5, 2022 were trading at Rs 55,200 per kg, down Rs 522 or 0.94 percent.
Yesterday, silver retailed at Rs 55,577 on the MCX, up Rs 288 or 0.52 percent, while gold was at Rs 49,190.
At the time of the closure of the market, gold stood at Rs 49,319 per 10 grams, while silver was at Rs 55,379 per kg on the MCX.
