Gold prices fall sharply this year, up to 4300 rs cheaper so far

New Delhi: Gold and silver prices have now slipped to a 4-month low. Gold futures have now slipped below the level of Rs 46,000, silver has also gone below Rs 63,000. In the bullion market too, there is a steady decline in the prices of gold and silver.

New Delhi: Gold, Silver Rate Update, 11 August 2021: If you want to buy gold or want to invest in gold, then this time is absolutely right. The October futures of gold on MCX has now broken the level of Rs 46,000 per 10 grams. Although yesterday gold was trading with a good strength throughout the day, but in the last hours there was a sudden sell-off and it slipped below 46,000. Although today gold had opened above the level of Rs 46,000, but now it seems to be returning weakness, it has again slipped below 46,000. If you look at the price of gold since last Wednesday, it is still cheaper by about Rs 2000 per 10 grams.

Gold cheaper by around Rs 10,300 from the highest level

Last year, due to the Corona crisis, people had invested heavily in gold, in August 2020, the price of 10 grams of gold on MCX reached the highest level of Rs 56191. Now gold October futures are at the level of Rs 45900 per 10 grams on MCX, that is, it is still getting cheaper by about Rs 10,300.

Silver moves on MCX

Now talking of silver, silver September futures also traded with good momentum on Wednesday, but it declined sharply in the last hours. Although silver futures closed completely flat. In the intraday, silver futures also went up to the level of 63240 and also slipped to Rs 62184. Today silver September futures have started with a decline, silver is trading at a level of Rs 62500 per kg. Last week on Wednesday, silver futures were close to Rs 67500. That is, silver has become cheaper by Rs 5000 per kg in just a week.

Silver cheaper by Rs 17500 from its all-time high

The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79,980 per kg. Accordingly, silver is also cheaper by about Rs 17500 from its highest level. Today, July futures of silver are at Rs 62500 per kg.

In the bullion market too, there is a fall in the prices of gold and silver. On Tuesday, gold was sold at Rs 46525 per 10 grams, on Wednesday it was sold at Rs 46220. There has been a huge fall in silver in the bullion market, on Tuesday, silver futures were sold at Rs 64186 per kg, on Wednesday its price fell to Rs 62847 per kg.
