Great start: England Women’s Cricketer Wyatt congratulates Arjun Tendulkar on T20 debut

Arjun Tendulkar, the son of India legend Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, finally made his senior cricket debut as he donned the Mumbai jersey in the league stage game of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2020/21. The left-arm seamer didn’t have a memorable outing and went for 34 runs in his three overs.

England women’s cricketer Danielle Wyatt congratulated the 21-years-old Arjun Tendulkar, saying it’s a great start with Arjun debut, Sachin and his son have become the first father-son pair from India to feature in T20 cricket.

He had leaked 15 runs in his 1st over before returning to take the wicket of Haryana opener, Chaitanya Bishnoi. Arjun bowled one more over and finished at 3-0-34-1. Since Haryana chased down the target in the 18th over, Arjun couldn’t complete his four-over spell.

Soon after Arjun made his T20 debut, he became one of the top trends on social media. England batter Danni Wyatt, who is a close friend of Arjun, also reacted to his debut. The World Cup-winning player lauded Arjun and congratulated him on social media.
